Lightning Dismissal Procedure 
  
When lightning occurs at dismissal time, students will be required to remain 
in the building until their bus is called or a parent/guardian picks their student up and signs them out.  During these events please look for a yellow flag up the flag pole and the following procedure will be followed: 
  

• School bus riders will remain in class until called by bus number to the gym and then be loaded one bus at a time (kindergartners will go to the gym with their teacher).

• School buses will use the main parking lot front circle to load students. Cars in this area will be asked to move either to a parking space or the bus loop to park and come in and get their student(s). Please DO NOT park your car and leave it in this front circle, as it is a fire lane and the buses are not able to pull through.

• Parents of walkers or car riders will need to park and then come in to their student's classroom, pick their student up and sign them out with the classroom teacher.
